About the Book:
Jocker and Bivy are back, flying high in the Ohio sky. One day, the cardinal siblings discover a new problem, a hawk named Merlin, who is determined to rule the forest. With Hoset, Renaldo, Boris, and the addition of a few new friends, they finally band together to save the day in a Return to Upworld.
This book continues to follow the cardinal siblings Jocker and Bivy as they find another problem to solve. As in the first story, the pair is courageous and friendly; willing to combine forces with other animals in the area to solve their problems.
Their story is cleverly constructed, with just enough description so children can visualize the setting, and not so scary as to cause bad dreams. Because, Jocker and Bivy, despite the fact that they are causing their parents grey feathers, are clever little hatchlings.
